My categories of movies. They may not be critically acclaimed in any way but it’s what I like & why.
Musicals (if you have met me, you will know I pretty much live to sing & do jazz hands whenever possible)
Chicago
Grease: This came out when I was wee & have memories of my brother & I dancing around the living room to Grease Lightning. Was my first foray to the overly dramatic.
Sound of Music: I want that puppet theatre.
Wizard of Oz: Find me someone that doesn’t like this movie.
Action
I’m a girl…
Chick Movies
Dirty Dancing
Girls Just Want To Have Fun
Mystic Pizza
The Notebook
Fav Comedies….
The Hangover: Loved this so much that I can’t decide which is better… Anchorman? Hangover? Tough decisions.
Old School: One word. earmuffs. Tried to see the band from the wedding one new years in Vegas but due to a police detainment, missed the show.
Zoolander: This movie grew on me. Didn’t like it at first and now I’ve seen it up to 1 000 000 times & find something new each time
Anchorman: I’m kind of a big deal. I have many leather bound books & my apartment smells of rich mahogany.
Napoleon Dynamite: I too have an interesting upper lip. I’m still on the lookout for a Liger.
Something About Mary: Early Classic
Movie Fav’s (for those that I will always jumpy clap when on TV and fit in no particular category. I pretty much can recite all dialogue from any one listed below)
Pulp Fiction
Top Gun
Shawshank Redemption
Jerry Maguire
Wonder Boys
Almost Famous
Good Will Hunting
The Green Mile
Dazed & Confused
Trilogy Fav’s: Not the entire series but the fav from the trilogy
Return of the Jedi: I actually like Empire Strikes back but I love ewoks so it’s hard.
Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade: Thought it had the best story & was the funniest
Scream 1: They really shouldn’t have made 2 more.
Back to the Future 1: Only because I haven’t seen the other ones.
