I just recently filled this out on facebook & perhaps it can give you a snapshot of whom you are reading about….
1. I always sneeze in 3′s… 2 in a row, big pause, then third
2. I’m very VERY afraid of spiders
3. Worked at Carlton cards & Splashdown while in highschool
4. Broke a slough of blood vessels in my leg jumping off a 60 foot cliff in hawaii… didn’t sit for 3 days.
5. Love Big cities. Rome & New York are 2 of my favourite.
6. I got over my fear of public speaking while teaching aerobics (closest thing to standing naked in front of others… spandex!)
7. My favourite food is cheese & if I could would eat it as a condiment with my meals.
8. My favourite thing to do is dance. Spent many years in ballet & had the tutu to prove it. Will divulge that when doing late night work sessions, I’ve been known to thrown on my ipod & tear around my apt for a good 20 minutes to break up the work sessions.
9. Am not a morning person. Takes me an hour or 2 before i’m ‘leanimal’
10. Got the nickname “leanimal’ from Christina whom I worked with at Superpages. Is not an original name as she called our co-worker brianimal.
11. I decided to go into graphic design based on a conversation with Tiff as I was miserable in the business program at SFU
12. I originally dislocated my knee while dancing at a birthday party at the Tsawwassen Golf course. Rumours then spread that my leg kicked up & hit me in the face. THAT is physically impossible. I apparently went to school with morons.
13. My one & only car that I owned was a 1993 Red Toyota Tercel that I got the day I graduated highschool
14. Even though I would never admit it, I am stubborn. I never like to give up once I have an idea in my head.
15. I’m the only person I know that has killed a cactus.
16. Moved 9x in 9 years but only in varying places in the lower mainland. (from tsawwassen to New west to richmond to marpole to cambie back to tsawwassen to west end to dntwn to howe street to yaletown) Have never lived outside the mainland.
17. Love silver & simple design pieces. Will always see me with a ring or earrings on.
18. Didn’t start wearing glasses until I was 24.
19. Am not as afraid of heights as I am of the equipment holding me there. I have a hard time trusting others. Even freak out that the carnie didn’t strap me into the ride properly & will go flying out the top of the the hellevator
20. My mother passed away in 1994 and I still think about her at least once a day.
21. Played the piano, the clarinet, and the bass clarinet…Did go on a band trip but never to band camp
22. I used to decorate cakes as a hobby when I was a kid (starting to see why I was overweight)
23. I had never eaten a McDonald’s Hamburger… until a fateful pie contest for Morettie’s birthday when AK brought the McPie *shakes fist at AK*
24. I always have toenail polish on…
25. Talks loud & laughs loud but am quiet when I’m most comfortable around you… so don’t ask what is wrong. Take is as a compliment that we can just ‘be’ around each other.
