Just When I Thought I Had Nothing to Say…

So Bruce & I went to Stine & Firemarshall Mike’s house warming/got a new job/it’s Christmas party.  The next day we were quite reluctant to get out of bed seeing as we had imbibed in quite a few noggs. As we were shiftlessly lying around flipping the channel we happened upon the british, and original, wife swap series.  Being the patient person that I am, couldn’t stand the cockney accent. Mostly because I couldn’t understand what one of the wives was saying. Before I could change the channel, we got a glimpse of the swapped wife & Bruce inquired as to why she was bald.

(This is a pet peeve of mine. Someone who questions what or why a character is doing something when they know it also your first time viewing this show. Both he and Nanz are guilty of this. In fact, I think i’ve even been phoned up and asked WHY is something happening… FARK! I don’t know and the more you ask, the more I don’t care. The only time this was funny was when I was 18 and went to see “A Perfect Word” with my friend Colin. Nearing the end of the movie when faced with a total gun standoff, and they’re about to open fire on Kevin Costner did my friend Colin cry out “DON’T SHOOT HIM, YOU BASTARDS!”  Yes, it was those exact words and yes, he yelled it. It would have been embaressing except it was really funny.. BUT ANYWAYS.. not the point.

The point is, Bruce wanted to know why one of the wives was bald & then informed me that I would look like this woman if I should choose to shave my head…. Um, Ok? A little random and I didn’t know we were worried I would Britney on him. I decided to engage in the conversation & asked “what?” So he repeated himself… “This is what you would look like if you were bald..” Ok, hi.. she was old. Not quite (hah) but I look at him and what the fark he was talking about… Apparently, I have on more then one occasion declared I’m shaving off all of my hair…. but you understand what I meant by that right? you understand a bad hair day & the urge to do away w/ the nusiance?

However, if I’m that convincing on the sarcastic front, I would hate to think what I could REALLY convince him of….

Can’t wait til April 1
