Porn. We’ve all seen it. Some of us seek it out. Some of us have websites bookmarked. Some of us have extensive libraries. There is so much out there that you could even focus specifically on one type of fetish (middle aged fat women of the south anyone??) There is also a growing female customer base… however, I could feel pretty certain that what an average woman wants to watch versus what an average man wants to see are completely different.
Case in point… just the other night while chatting online with a friend (we’ll call him a friend when in reality he is just a guy I met online a year ago, went out once & I’ve been reluctant to go out with again as not only he is a mayja proprietor of porn (actually didn’t bother me that much… I kept picturing my fantasy shoe closet), but his volatile ex-girlfriend had hit him upside the head with a phone. So after a few weeks/month of no chat, I see him online the other night. (Am having a hard time sleeping these days… a lot on my mind). We play a little catch up.. he asks me, “what’s new?” I say hmmm… “not sure, there was a boy, now no boy… Work is picking up, am going to Puerto Vallarta for Christmas…. what about you?”
After a long pause, he answers, “I have a new site” and provided the link… so I look. Modelled after Youtube, the idea of this site is for people to submit their own home porn for the public to view. Faced with a wall of screen shots there was one thing that seemed to stick out further then anything else (sorry, was reaching for the bad pun there)…. 6 out of 10 pictures, feature a chick with spooj on her face……………… clearly a male fantasy.

So with this growing female fan base of porn will it is just one more male dominated avenue that will slowly get edged out by the tampex generation? (I think it would be a natural sponsor? Both are working for the same……… boss)
For example, Passion parties are all the rage replacing tupperware as the means to get the girls together. In fact, I don’t know one girl friend that likes to cook but the last 3 men I have dated, have been avid chefs treating me to such things as a steak in a reduction sauce (I still don’t know what that is but I know it tasted good). This is my point though. These parties for women generally focus on you & your partner & how to spice up your lives… where as porn for men are clearly all about getting themselves off. Even when we start to own our sexuality, we are still thinking about others and their needs. Some things will never change I suppose. Although was quite horrified to learn the other day while watching the view (I am now a loyal viewer… someone beat me), but Whoopi enlightened us to the habits of some old aged English women that scamper down to Kenya for some sex with young black men.

Yes, old women like 80 or so, are travelling to Africa to have sex with young black men. Aside from flagrantly exposing yourself to AIDS, does no one see what’s wrong with this? People were cheering for these women in the audience. I’m sorry but isn’t prostitution, prostitution no matter who is paying for it? How is this different then old creepy men flying to Thailand? Either way, I’m just realizing that in spite of my sordid past, I’m pretty sheltered but at least I have something to look forward to in about 50 years….
